Police probe fuel thefts

Police are appealing for information after fuel has been stolen from vehicles in three separate incidents.

A Citreon C4 motor vehicle, parked in the wood yard area, next to Strachans Park, had a quantity of diesel stolen from it between 9.10 pm on Monday, July 18 and 5.30 pm on Tuesday, July 19. There have been two similar incidents in the local area recently.

The police would also like to talk to anyone with information regarding the smashing of a window at the Co-op Store on Trinity Road, Brechin, between 1.30 am and 2.30 am on Saturday, when a large boulder was thrown at it.
