Police seek accident witnesses

Officers from Brechin police are looking for witnesses to come forward about the following incidents.

A red Renault Megane motor car was parked and unattended on Park Place near it’s junction with Infirmary Street. About 2.30 pm on Saturday, June 18, the owner heard the skidding of tyres and a loud bang.

On checking the vehicle a short time later, the owner found minor damage to the front offside of the vehicle.

Police are appealing for any witnesses, or indeed the perpetrator, to contact them on 0300 111 222 or to call in at Brechin Police office.

An amount of fuel was stolen from Tesco Express/Esso Garage on Clerk Street, Brechin around 5 pm on Tuesday, June 14.

The driver of a “Y” registration green Ford Focus drove off after fuelling, making no attempt to pay.

It is believed that there were passengers in the vehicle.
