Police seek information after theft from vehicle

Police in Brechin are calling on members of the public to help with information regarding thefts from a motor vehicle.

Some time between 10.15 p.m. on Monday, October 7, and 7 a.m. on Tuesday, October 8, a grey Iveco van was entered while it was parked and unattended in Lindsay Place, Edzell.

A level laser kit and associated items were stolen along with a petrol disc cutter.

Police are appealing for anyone with any information regarding this crime to contact them as soon as possible, particularly if you have seen or been offered these items for sale.

Police in Brechin have also released the latest list of unclaimed property.

This week, they have a key on a fob with the name ‘Alice’ on it as well as a gentleman’s wallet.
