Probing incidents of vandalism in the Brechin area

Several vandalisms have occurred in Brechin recently and police in Brechin are appealing for witnesses.

Sometime between 3 am and 4 am on July 9, two males and a female were seen in the car park at the junction with Witchden Road and Montrose Street, Brechin.

The first male is described as wearing a dark jacket and jeans and the other was wearing a white baseball cap and white top.

Both men were described as in their late twenties.

There is no description of the female.

The male in the darker clothing was then seen to punch the rear window of a blue Renault Megane, breaking it.

A perimiter fence at the rear of a property in Trinity Fileds Crescent, Brechin has been damaged, sometime overnight between Monday and Tuesday, July 11 and 12.

About 2 am on July 16, the outer pane of a double glazed window in Drumachlie Park, Brechin was broken by an unknown method.

Between 2 am and 11 am on Saturday past, another window was smashed, this time in River Street.

It is thought to have a garden gnome thrown at it.

A gent’s blue Harrow mountain bike has been stolen from a garden in Montrose Street, Brechin, sometime between 8.30 pm on Thursday, July 7 and 3,30 pm on Friday July 8.
