About 12.40 p.m., on Saturday, March 16, the kitchen window of a middle flat in a block of flats in Montrose Street, Brechin but which overlooks Drumachlie Park, was smashed by a rock. Police are appealing for witnesses or for anyone with information to contact them.
Sometime between 8 p.m., on Thursday, March 14, and 7.45 a.m., on Friday, March 15, a black Audi Estate car was scratched along it’s bodywork on the passenger side. The vehicle had been parked and unattended in Gallowhill, off Trinity Road, Brechin.
A further vandalism occurred in Gallowhill between 11 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, and 7.40 a.m. on Friday, March 15, when a black Ford Fiesta had its paintwork similarly scratched.
Between Friday, March 15, and 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19, four holes were made in the roof of Glencaddam Distillery, Westmuir, Brechin, by persons throwing stones onto the roof.
£300 worth of damage has been caused and Police are appealing for information from anyone who may have seen person(s) throwing stones at the premises.
Some time between 11.40 a.m. and 3 p.m., on Monday March 11, a wallet and contents were stolen from the Damacre Centre, Brechin. Some of the contents were later recovered; however, the wallet and cash are still outstanding.
