Special Constable Ricky Martin is holding a rural crime prevention meeting in Menmuir this Thursday (December 8).
It will take place at Menmuir Village Hall at 7pm.
A representative from Trading Standards will also be at the meeting, where a wide variety of crime prevention methods, such as property marking, animal and fuel security will be discussed, along with rural issues, including hare coursing, fly tipping and suspicious vehicles.
All farmers and members of the rural community in the Brechin area are invited to attend.
Special Constable Martin said: “We want to make our rural areas safer and along with Trading Standards we will be providing lots of information and advice relevant to you.
“This meeting is a great opportunity for farmers and those living and working in our rural communities and I would encourage you to come along at 7pm to Menmuir Hall to join in our discussions.”
