Theft from butchers

Police in Angus are making enquiries into the theft of meat from Bel’s Butchers in High Street, Edzell.

The theft took place sometime between 7 p.m. on Sunday, December 21, and 6 a.m. on Monday, December 22.

Turkey, steak, gammon, lamb, chicken, and bacon were amongst the items stolen from a refrigeration unit at the rear of the shop.

Anyone who has information that could assist police with their enquiries, or knows who is responsible for this crime, should contact Police Scotland on 101.
