Vehicles vandalised while parked

AT ABOUT 9 p.m., on Monday, December 31, 2012, four vehicles had their wing mirrors vandalised whilst the vehicles were parked and unattended in Park Place and Infirmary Street, Brechin. It would appear that person(s) had also run over some of the bonnets and roofs. Additionally, one of the vehicles had two scores, one on the driver’s door and another on the panel below the damaged wing mirror.

Sometime between 1.30 p.m., on Monday, December 31, 2012, and 6 a.m., on Tuesday, January 1, the lower pane of glass in the front door of Brechin Police Office, Clerk Street, Brechin was kicked and cracked by person unknown.

Sometime between 6 p.m., on Tuesday, December 25, 2012, and 9 a.m. on Wednesday, December 26, an attempt was made to forcibly enter a semi-detached property in Provost Buchan Road, Brechin. Entry was not gained; however, damage was caused to the door.

Police are appealing for witnesses or for anyone who saw any persons in the area around that time to contact them as soon as possible on 0300 111 2222 or by calling the Crimestoppers line anonymously on 0800 555 111.
