POLICE in Brechin are investigating an incident of vandalism which occurred over the weekend.

Sometime between 10 pm on Friday and 6 am on Saturday a window was smashed at the Co-operative Store in Trinity Road, Brechin.

The glass did not fall out but will have to be replaced.

Also, a lit bollard, two poles, and a sign were damaged near to the roundabout on the B966 road from Brechin to Edzell, sometime before 8 am on Thursday.

Police are asking for anyone with any information or who may have witnessed the incidents to contact them on 0300 111 2222.

Found property: This week’s unclaimed property includes two loose keys found in the Middleton Park area, a ladies bike found on the back road to Auchenblae and two keys on a whistle fob.
