Day care boost

DAY CARE BOOST: There was a 250 boost for the Dalhousie Day Care Centre in Brechin last week. Lynda Mathieson and Gwen McIntosh popped along to the centre to present manager Morag Davidsonm (right), with the proceeds of a raffle held at the Hogmanay dance staged in Farnell village hall. Since the millennium there has been an annual party or ceilidh in the hall, organised by three local families along with their friends and neighbours. It was decided to make a contribution to funds at the Dalhousie Centre in recognition of the good work there and valuable service provided to the local community.
