The annual general meeting of Brechin Day Care Ltd, trading as The Dalhousie Centre, will be held within the centre at 102 High Street on Wednesday, August 17, at 5pm.
The centre covers Brechin, Edzell and the surrounding area. All interested are invited to attend.
This year, following the retirement of a number of long-serving board members over the last few years, there are a number of vacancies that the Day Care hope to fill.
The most pressing positions they hope to fill are those of treasurer and building convener.
The accounts are administered by a full-time member of staff and are fully computerised. Therefore the treasurer’s role is mainly oversight as well as ensuring the budget is managed appropriately.
The building convener would keep an eye on the fabric of the building, identify any problems and authorise necessary building works.
As well as those two positions, the management team would welcome anyone who is interested in supporting the aims of the centre and willing take an active role in ad-hoc projects as required.
Chairman, Joy Mowatt, commented: “We would love to hear from anyone who wishes to offer their support to the board and I am happy to meet them at the Centre to show them around so they are fully aware of the work we do.
“My contacts are firstname.lastname@example.org, 01356 623981 and 07590 472750.”
The annual general meeting will be followed immediately by the regular monthly boardmeeting.
