An Edzell woman planning a sky dive to mark a milestone birthday has already smashed her original target.

Debbie Farquharson, who turned 30 in July, wanted to use her sky dive as a chance to raise money for Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance and set a £300 target.

However, with her current total sitting at £520.50, and her sky dive scheduled for Sunday (August 16), she’s chosen to double her target to £600.

Debbie previously explained her reason for picking this particular charity, saying: “I chose Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance as living rural outside Edzell and working up Glenesk the air ambulance can reach more rural locations in which an ambulance cannot.”
