Brechin City Youths under 10s football team held a sponsored walk on September 9.
Players, coaches and family members took part in a six-mile walk and a substantial amount of money was raised.
As a result, it was decided that a donation would be made to the Brooke’s Dream Appeal.
The money donated will go to the family of seven-year-old Brooke Ramsay from Carnoustie. Brooke suffers from cerebral palsy and needs a specialist operation to be able to walk freely.
Brooke and her dad Stewart attended the boys’ last home game of the season to receive the cheque.
