Brechin High School is proud to present A Night at the Movies on Tuesday, September 2.

Pupils from Brechin High School along with pupils from Montrose Academy and Carnoustie High School have been working hard to put together not just an entertaining evening, but a thought-provoking one.

Through the mediums of film, music, art, poetry and historical commentary the pupils will take the audience on a journey through the history of the world wars.

The audience will hear familiar themes and medleys from film and TV, such as ‘Black Adder’, ‘Downtown Abbey’, ‘Dad’s Army’, ‘Saving Private Ryan’ and ‘Schindlers’ List’, played against a background of evocative images and words from those who were there.

This unique performance will take place in Brechin High School Assembly Hall at 7 p.m. Tickets, which cost £5 and £2 including refreshments, will be available at the door on the night with all proceeds going to Help For Heroes.
