YOUNGSTERS in Brechin have just one week left to be in with a chance of becoming TV scientist Professor Brian Cox’s cosmic class of 2013.

Now in its third year, Professor Cox’s star-studded lesson to get youngsters inspired by the world around them is back by unprecedented demand from thousands of schools, teachers and parents.

Organised by The Big Bang Fair – the UK’s largest celebration of science and engineering for young people – school kids from all walks of life have a week remaining to nominate their class to have Brian rocket into their science lesson.

School children, teachers and parents from Brechin can now enter their class (or child’s class) into the special prize draw, which will see the TV scientist rocketing into the winning school on February 6, 2013, and surprising pupils with an extraordinary science lesson.

Young people, teachers and parents from Brechin can now register for the chance to take part in The Big Bang Class of 2013 by visiting facebook.com/TheBigBang4U.

Entry for a science lesson of a lifetime closes, tomorrow, Thursday, December 13.
