Former Andover teacher struck off

A FORMER Andover Primary depute headteacher has been struck off for two years.

On Monday, the General Teaching Council for Scotland found Karen Kennedy guilty of several charges, including accessing other people’s emails without permission and failing to keep secure login and password details of a council laptop.

She also made false allegations about a council employee, submitted false details to try to provide an alibi for her whereabouts on a particular day and acted inappropriately towards colleagues.

An allegation that she used a laptop to download and store inappropriate material was found not proven. She did not attend the hearing.
