Brechin High School had three percent of S5 pupils achieving five or more highers in the 2012/2013 school year it has been revealed.
In the same year group, 33 per cent of pupils achieved one or more highers and 18 per cent received three or more highers. A total of 26 per cent of S6 pupils at the school achieved three or more highers, with 17 per cent receiving five or more. The figures, released by Scottish Schools online, also showed that 50 per cent of pupils stayed on to study to their sixth year in the 2012/2013 school year, compared to 40 per cent for the previous year.
