Andover Primary school pupils, teachers and around 50 parents donned their walking shoes on Friday, April 26, when they took part in their annual sponsored walk around Brechin
Setting off from the school the senior children walked along the nature trail, visiting Brechin public park, before coming out at Trinity Road.
From there they walked down Clerk Street, along Swan Street and then on to Brechin Cathedral.
Having taken in the sights of the Cathedral and the Round Tower the children walked along Skinner’s Burn, past Inch Park, along River Street and up East Mill Road.
The children then headed back to school via Drumachlie Park.
Younger pupils from the school followed a shorter route.
In total it is predicted that the school will raise over £3,700.
A spokesperson for the school said: “A big thank you to all the sponsors and parent helpers.
“The monies raised will be used by the Andover Parent Council to pay for buses for the summer educational visits.”
