Helping prepare jubilee event

First year art pupils, Rebecca Reid and Kayley Davie from Brechin High School, are helping the charity, Contact the Elderly prepare for the Glamis Jubilee event.'The pupils are making a giant papier mache red teapot, the charity's logo, for CtE's stand in the Brechin Burgh marquee. Other examples of pupils' art work will also be on display such as soft sculpture cakes.'The charity which has three groups in Angus, takes elderly guests who don't get out much, for afternoon tea once a month .CtE is very grateful to Ms Kibbler of the Art Dept. for her help, and are delighted that pupils from Brechin High School have agreed to help support the charity with their efforts.' The Brechin area group is in it's sixth year and has been joined by groups in Montrose, and Forfar/Kirriemuir.
