IN THE RUNNING: Maisondieu Primary School's relay teams recently travelled to Arbroath to compete in the Angus four x 100 metre Relay Competition. The boys' team of Marco Fogaccia, Dawson Sawyer, Nicolas Pionke, Sam Rogerson and Harry Ingram reached the final, finishing sixth out of the nineteen schools who participated. The girls' team of Marie Moffat, Daveena Rooke, Joan Dangana, Fiona Brown and Elice Wilkinson fared even better. They also reached the final, finishing second out of the eighteen competing schools, winning the silver medal. Joan was also selected to represent Angus in the Scottish Schools four x 100m relay competition at Grangemouth on June 2.
