The Damacre community learning development Adult and youth art and craft groups recently took part in a joint excursion to McManus Galleries in Dundee for a tour of the gallery and to participate in a screen painting workshop.

The groups have taken the skills they have learnt and are hoping to put it into good practice to produce a joint piece of artwork which will be displayed in the Damacre Centre’s up and coming Art extravaganza in June.

CLD worker Jennifer Anderson commented that “the excursion had been a great success and enjoyed by all and was a first of many future visits.” The groups were working on ‘a memories and feelings of Brechin’ theme.
