Maisondieu recently held its annual Music Maker Competition, which is open to all primary six and seven pupils. The standard was very high with over 30 children taking part.
The children demonstrated their rich and varied musical talents, which included singing, orchestral strings, guitar and piano. Two sixth year pupils from Brechin High School along with Mrs Jackson, Depute Head Teacher and teacher of music, formed the panel of judges.
Pictured are the winners of the strings, voice and other instrumental categories, as well as the overall Music Maker of the Year.
