Maisondieu Primary School’s playground has been upgraded over the past year, thanks to fundraising efforts from pupils and parents.

Last year every child voted for their favourite piece of new Playdales playground equipment. The most popular choices were selected and the children, parents and staff all contributed fundraising ideas and had a busy year raising money for the playground improvements cause.

Julie Thompson, a parent of Maisondieu, along with the Parent and Pupil Voice committees at Maisondieu also managed to secure £10,000 Lottery funding to reach the target.

The children were very excited to see the new improvements and enjoy playing on them.
