Pre-School reading event

Last Wednesday Pre-school children joined their parents for a session with Sylvia Main (Reading Development Officer) to create individual "sounds" books. The parents learned about how sharing stories and rhymes at home can help develop a love of books from an early age.'The Management Team, Early Intervention Assistant and Adult Learning Worker were on hand to give advice and answer questions. Feedback from the session has been very positive. Pre-schoolers will join their parents for the Induction to P1 on June 14.
