CHILDREN of primary 5/6, 6 and 7 at Maisondieu School recently hosted a French evening for their parents and relatives, writes the pupil press team.

To start the evening, the pupils in primaries 5/6 and 6 entertained the parents with French raps, songs and plays, which demonstrated their abilities in the French language.

The parents were then put to the test during an engaging quiz about France that the pupils had designed.

Primary seven pupils organised a buffet for the evening; pricing and ordering the food from Tesco online.

The pupils also put on an entertaining show, which told an Elmer story in French.

The pupils and teachers involved in the evening would like to thank all who attended.

The evening was a great success and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves.

It was a fantastic way for the pupils to share their learning with their parents and gave them an opportunity to use their enterprising skills.
