AS PART of their recent Health Week at Andover Primary School (see the above story for futher information), the primary five/six class helped organise a sports afternoon for the primary two and primary two/three classes.

The senior pupils created a number of stations where the younger pupils could practise a variety of skills such as throwing and jumping.

The P5/6 pupils manned the stations and were responsible for showing the P2 and P2/3 pupils what to do and how to improve.

The class teachers of all of the classes were extremely impressed at how well the pupils worked together, the high standard of behaviour shown by pupils and at the P5/6’s responsible attitudes towards their younger schoolmates.
