Pupils from Stracathro Primary School recently received a presentation on recycling from a Water Services representative.

The talk also included information about Clean up Angus, which operates in partnership with the Keep Scotland Beautiful charity.

Ben Conway, the school’s reporter, explained: “John Anderson from Waste Services came to Stracathro Primary School to give a talk and PowerPoint on recycling and ‘Clean up Angus.’

“There were many highlights; my favourite was finding out that the food you put in the bin can be turned into electricity.”
