Maisondieu Primary School recently held its annual Scottish poetry recital competition.

The competition was adjudicated by Mr Smith, Mr Gray and Mr Bradford.

Aimee Mackie was named the overall winner for Primary 6-7, Connor Hutcheon was the overall winner for Primary 4-5 and the Primary 2-3 overall winner was Phoebe Potter.

The Primary One children performed Scottish Songs ‘Coulters Candy’ and ‘The Three Craws’.

Primary 2 - winner, Owen Barnett; runner-up, Georgie Newman.

Primary 3 - winner, Phoebe Potter; runner-up, Alex Thompson.

Primary 4 - winner, Mattea Chalmers; runner-up, Maiya Hill.

Primary 5 - winner, Connor Hutcheon; runner-up, Grace Kelly.

Primary 6 - winner, Abbie Reid; runner-up, Lucy Crabb.

Primary 7 - winner, Aimee Mackie; runner-up, Erin Hoggins.
