“We’re all thrilled as the girls have worked so hard and they really did us proud!”

All students who were placed in first, second or third place were presented with a medal and certificate.

The girls have now gained places in the national final at the Blackpool Winter Gardens in March.

There they will compete with trainees from six other regions to have the chance to win £100 for coming first, £50 for coming in second and £30 for coming in third as well as a medal and certificate.
