The pianist was Margaret Taylor, and a medley of songs from the war days was appreciated by everyone present.
The meeting ended with Grace.
The next meeting will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4.
The speaker will be a representative of Crossreach. This organisation, based in Edinburgh, was previously known as the Church of Scotland Board of Social Responsibility.
