EDZELL Lethnot Glenesk Church Guild met last Tuesday, November 6, when president Glenys Small gave everyone a warm welcome before informing everyone present about past and forthcoming events.
Sheila Burnet then led the meeting in prayer and Bible readings before welcoming the Rev. Linda Broadley of Hillside, Montrose, who gave an interesting talk on ‘A faith to proclaim’, which is the guild theme for 2012/13.
Pat Black proposed a vote of thanks.
Pianist on the day was Sylvia Mealls.
Tea was served and the meeting closed with everyone saying The Grace.

Guild week takes place during the week of November 18 and 25 when the guild will be marking the occasion by holding a songs of praise on Sunday, November 18, at 3 p.m.
On Tuesday, November 20, there will be a guest afternoon at 2 p.m. when speakers will be Andrena Gray and Lorna Ruckston on beauty and flowers.
Everyone is welcome to attend both events.
The Church of Scotland will also be celebrating its 125th anniversary this year. The Guild was started in 1887 by Rev Dr Archibald Charteris.
