Election candidates will speak at Brechin hustings

A hustings for local people to quiz the candidates for the coming General Election has been arranged by Brechin Churches Together this weekend.

There will be an opportunity to listen to, and ask questions of, the prospective candidates for the Angus constituency.

The format for the evening will include each candidate speaking briefly about their Party’s policies, followed by questions from the audience to the candidates, questions from the chair to the candidates on specific issues not previously addressed, discussion, and a final summing up by each candidate.

It is also anticipated that there will be time for members of the audience to speak informally with the candidates.

Grahame Lockhart will chair the event which will start at 7pm on Sunday, April 26, at Brechin Baptist Fellowship. All are welcome to attend.
