Fire station to mark 40th anniversary

Brechin firefighters are calling on the local community and former firefighters to get in touch with memorabilia and stories of the fire service in the town, as they gear up to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the opening of the Scott Street Station.

Organisers behind the celebrations are hoping to hold an open day on Saturday, May 31, and are on the look out for historical memorabilia and tales from previous workers.

To get in touch with staff at the Brechin Fire Station, please visit the station between 7 and 9 p.m. on Monday evenings or contact Harry Angus on 07788 988944.
