First christening since Kirk purchased

Ramsay William McMichael was christened in Lochlee Kirk Glenesk on Saturday, April 23, by the Rev. Jane Nelson.

The baby’s parents, Christopher and Claire, were delighted to welcome friends and family to participate in this happy event within the historic building.

Ramsay, great grandson of the late Ramsay Guthrie of the Parsonage, Tarfside, was the first baby to be christened in this church since the local community, with the help of many generous donations, purchased the Kirk.

Pictured are some of the church representatives - Mrs Isobel Low, Mr Michael Littlejohn, Rev Jane Nelson, Mrs Anne Littlejohn, Miss Sandra Guthrie with Ramsay and Mrs Agnes Lowden.
