Fourth annual Craft and Charity fair this Saturday

Brechin’s fourth annual Pre-Christmas Craft and Charity Fair takes place on November 21 at Brechin City Hall from 10am to 4pm.

A special effort has gone into selecting the craftspeople and charity organisations this year to offer as wide a diversity of goods.

This year’s Big Brechin Raffle includes an adult-size teddy bear – Bertie Brechin along with another 40 plus prizes including vouchers for some of your favourite local businesses. All the prizes have been donated by Brechin Branch SNP. Local councillor and prospective Scottish Parliamentary candidate Mairi Evans will be available to chat to you throughout the day.

Mairi commented: “This year David Smart, the organiser, has put in an extra-special effort to make the Craft and Charity Fair even bigger and better than ever. This is an excellent opportunity to have a fun day as well as giving you a chance to buy something different for Christmas. This event supports local craftspeople and offers carefully selected charities a free stall to promote and fundraise for their organisations.

“BRAVO Brechin already presents a full programme of local events and we are very happy to complement all the other great days we enjoy in our City of Brechin by holding our event in the City Hall on November 21 from 10am to 4pm. I would encourage you to come and join us for a very good day whatever the weather. It beats a bus or car trip into the noisier and already busy cities further afield.”

Entry costs £1 and includes refreshments
