Angus Council wants to hear your views about investment priorities for council services over the next two to three years.
Residents are being surveyed about the service priorities and the levels of service that are acceptable to them.
A confidential online questionnaire allows participants to prioritise services, selecting the level of service they believe is acceptable.
The research, which also includes face-to-face interviews with a representative sample of residents, will be used along with other information to help the council plan services and budgets in the coming years.
The online questionnaire takes around 20 minutes to complete and participants are asked to choose where they want to ‘spend’ allocated points across a range of council services, choosing whether to reduce the level of service, maintain it or increase it – the investment choices must be ‘paid for’ with the points available.
Angus Council leader Iain Gaul said: “This focused research will give us detailed information about people’s priorities which - when considered along with other intelligence gathered and our obligations - will help us plan relevant, cost-effective local services in the coming years and ensure we invest money, people and time in the right places.”
The questionnaire is available at www.angus.gov.uk/priorities.
