Angus Council is calling on homeowners, leaseholders, occupiers, and tenants to express their views about their five-year Local Housing Strategy.
The strategy is currently being developed, and the Local Authority knows the importance of consultation and the value it has in guiding future direction. Consultation has already taken place with various partners, but they want to hear opinions from local residents about the main housing issues in their areas.
The Local Housing Survey 2017-2022 is now online and will be open until Friday, September 30.
The council want to hear from as many people as possible, so please let them know what you think.
They have split the survey into three themes based on local evidence and previous consultations. They are:
• The supply and availability of good quality, affordable housing.
• Ensuring people can access appropriate housing options and housing-related services to meet their needs so they can live independently.
• Ensuring the quality and energy efficiency of all housing stock is improved and Angus Council contribute to targets to reduce CO2 emissions in Angus.
