BRECHIN Health Centre’s annual flu campaign starts this week.

The practice are operating their local flu campaign this month. It offers free flu immunisations to everyone aged 65 or over, or who will be by March 31, 2013. Others who qualify are in specific health categories or if you suffer from any of the following conditions:- chronic heart disease; chronic lung disease, including asthma or COPD; chronic kidney disease; chronic liver disease; chronic neurological disease; lowered immunity due to disease or treatment; non-working or absent spleen; resident in long stay residential or nursing accommodation; diabetes of any type; carers (non-employed, non-paid); pregnant women.

If you are a registered patient of Brechin Medical Practice and come into any of the above categories, then please attend the health centre on the following dates and times:-

A to L surnames should attend on Saturday (October 20) from 8 am to 12 noon.

M to Z surnames should attend on Saturday, October 27, from 8 am to 12 noon.
