Patients at Stracathro Hospital are set to benefit from another donation from Friends of Stracathro Hospital.

The group, which last year invested an impressive £100,000 in enhancing the first class service provided for Angus and the Mearns by NHS Tayside, donated equipment to the Angus and District Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) group on April 15.

The group handed over a treadmill and Hula at the Macmillan Cancer Support Department at Stracathro Hospital.

A spokesperson for group said: “Soon we shall have the pleasure of donating some more state-of-the-art equipment to the hospital and again Stracathro Hospital will be at the forefront in health care provision. We can do this only with the active and generous support of the public.”
