Brechin Health Centre has revealed the dates they will be carrying out flu vaccination for patients who are entitled to receive the free jab.
The centre is set to be administering vaccinations on Saturday, October 19, and Saturday, October 26.
Those who are entitled to the free vaccination (no prescription required) are those who are aged 65 or over, or will be by March 31, 2014, or those who suffer from the following conditions:
Chronic heart disease.
Chronic lung disease, including asthma or COPD.
Chronic kidney disease.
Chronic liver disease.
Chronic neurological disease.
Lowered immunity due to disease or treatment.
Non-working or absent spleen.
Or resident in long stay residential or nursing accommodation.
Diabetes of any type.
Carers (non-employed, non-paid).
If you are a registered patient of the practice and come into any of the above categories, then please attend the Health Centre on the following dates and times:-
Saturday, October 19, patients with surnames beginning with A to L, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
Saturday, October 26, patients with surnames beginning with M to Z, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
