A FREE evening foot care information session for people living with arthritis is to be held in the Damacre Centre in Brechin tonight (Wednesday, April 3) from 6.30 until 8.30 p.m.
Organised by Angus Community Health Partnership (CHP) the session which is called ‘Looking after your feet’ is aimed at people living with arthritis, their families and carers.
During the session podiatry staff will explain the importance of foot care and give helpful tips and advice on how best to look after your feet.
There will also be an opportunity to ask podiatrists questions and to meet and chat with other people living with arthritis over a cup of tea.
Rhona Guild, Primary Care Manager, Angus CHP, said: “I would encourage anyone living in and around Brechin affected by arthritis to come along to the Damacre Centre to hear about what they can do to look after their feet better.
“The meetings are free and there is no need to book you can just turn up.
“These arthritis information meetings not only provide the opportunity to speak with podiatry staff but also, importantly, the chance for people to have a cup of tea and a chat with others also affected by arthritis.”
