Healthy Start Cafes re-open following holiday closure

THE HEALTHY Start Cafés in Brechin and Forfar both re-opened on (Monday, January 7) to welcome back mums and babies after the festive break.

The free cafés are part of Angus Community Health Partnership’s Healthy Happy Communities Project.

They are held in Cathedral Hall, Brechin, every Thursday between 11.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. (term time) and in The Guide Hall, The Myre, Forfar every Monday between 11.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. (term time).

The groups aim to provide a comfortable, relaxed and informal environment for pregnant women and parents with babies.

From the minute they discover they are pregnant, women are welcome to come along to the cafés which provide a comfortable space where they can chat together and share their experiences.
