As of this Wednesday (April 1), Brechin’s Stepping Out walkers will leave the Damacre Centre for their walks at 2 p.m. instead of 1 p.m.

Jean Clark, who was trained by Paths for All as a walk leader, said: “We will leave at 2 p.m. to Step Out to the beautiful village of Ferryden to view Montrose and the coastline.”

Stepping Out was formed in October 2014 to help promote walking as the healthy option for motivating people of all abilities to lead a happier life through taking free exercise in the fresh air, meeting new people and enjoying all that Brechin and the surrounding district has on offer in the way of history and scenery. Jean added: “We have a core group of 10 at the moment but would love to see this increasing as Spring moves into Summer so. Come along any Wednesday to the Damacre Centre, Damacre Road and check us out.”
