Angus people are being reminded that GP surgeries will be closed for a number of days during the festive period.
Surgeries will be open on Christmas Eve (December 24) and will then close for four straight days - Christmas Day, Boxing Day, December 27 and December 28, before reopening on Monday, December 29. Surgeries will then close again on New Years Day (January 1), before returning to normal opening hours on January 5.
Professor George Crooks, Medical Director of NHS 24, said: “Many GP surgeries will be closed for four days over Christmas and again at New Year, so it is essential that everyone is prepared and knows exactly when their local services are available and how to access them.”
