Support for long term issues

Have your say

DO YOU have a long term condition like diabetes, arthritis, depression, heart disease, COPD, fibromyalgia, M.E., asthma etc or do you know or care for someone with one or more of those conditions and are you looking for some support?

Angus Long Term Conditions Support Groups maybe the place to find support as they are a peer led organisation and have lots of people just like you who attend our monthly meetings and find out more about their conditions from the visitor talks they have and for the other members of the groups who also have the same or similar conditions.

There are four groups which meet on a monthly basis. The Brechin group meets at Brechin Infirmary Minor Injuries Unit, on the last Thursday of the month from 2 until 4 p.m.

To find out more why not come along to one of the meetings, visit their award winning website or call 07901 385279 for more information.

Everyone with any medical condition is welcome to drop in at any of their meetings, you don’t need to book and it costs nothing!

The group will also have a stand at the Long Term Conditions Event on Thursday, April 25 at the Reid Hall in Forfar from 11 a.m., until 3:30 p.m., so come along and visit us there.
