Children in Brechin have been enjoying an action packed programme of activities at Andover Primary School last week, the first week of the Angus School holidays.

Volunteers from Brechin Churches have been working together to provide the holiday club called Polar Explorers, where children go on an exploration of the Bible to discover four unlikely characters who were friends of Jesus.

They are helped by Sir Random Finds and his assistant Bare Foot, and a drama about a group of clueless explorers who eventually end up as an excellent team when given an opportunity to use their talents.

As well as Bible stories the children have been involved in baking, crafts, drama, music and outside activities. The club leaders are delighted with the response with over 50 children from P1 to P6 coming along from 9 am until midday.
