The Dalhousie Day Care Centre got a bit of a spruce up recently, when a team of volunteers attended the centre to paint their kitchen.

Help came from members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints who visited Brechin High Street’s Dalhousie Day Care Centre, on Saturday, May 11.

The help came about after Hugh Auld, public affairs officer, for the church responded to an appeal from the centre.

To ensure the job got done Hugh organised a team of helpers to attend the centre as part of the church’s community service.

Dalhousie Centre manager Alan Barr was on hand to see that the team had the tools they needed for the job and Dalhousie Centre board member Joy Mowatt popped in to welcome the team and thank them for once again coming to help at the centre.
