Will you be this year’s Angus Youth Ambassador inspiring other young adults to reach their full potential? Or will you be Angus’ Community Ambassador demonstrating what a little bit of time given by a few like minded people can achieve? Or maybe this year you’re leading the way within the Cultural, Business, International or Tourism sectors? Whatever your area of expertise, the awrd organisers want to hear from you!
John Burt, Principal of Angus College who were the winners of the International Ambassador Award 2010, explains why the college are sponsoring this year’s youth award: “The organisations and individuals who win the Angus Ambassador Awards are extremely positive role models and with the new Dundee and Angus College having more than 8,000 students in the 16-25 year age group, it is absolutely appropriate that we are sponsoring the Youth Award.
“The new Dundee and Angus College, as of November 1, 2013, welcomes the opportunity to support young people in their endeavours.”
Don’t forget entries must be in by September 17. To give yourself the best chance make sure you provide as much information supported by evidence as you can. All entries will get the chance to win an amazing hamper of Angus goodies to eat.
Applications can be found online at www.angusahead.com/awards or at access offices, libraries and leisure centres in every Angus town. Please support the awards by following us on Twitter @AngusAmbassador and like us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/AngusAmbassadorAwards.
