The new leisure facility at Brechin Community Campus was described as an “amazing asset to have” by Angus Alive Chief Executive Kirsty Hunter.
The praise for the facility came during a tour today (Tuesday), led by staff members Alana Hendry and Ruari Dalgetty, ahead of its opening next week.
Kirsty also spoke of the good uptake by the public for tours of the facility, which are set to take place this weekend.
Kirsty said: “The original number of tours on Saturday and Sunday have been filled so we are adding extra slots.
“It’s all about showcasing the facilities that are available and working with the community to make sure everyone is getting the best out of it.”
She also praised the good cooperation between the Angus Alive staff and education staff for the work to create a timetable that tries to “account for the needs of everyone using the facilities”.
The leisure facilities at the Community Campus - which includes a 25 meter swimming pool, games hall, dance studio, gymnasium and climbing wall - opens to the public on Monday.
Meanwhile pupils will move in to the campus tomorrow (Wednesday).
