Brechin householders are among those who are to receive free advice on how they could cut their fuel bills.
Angus residents are eligible to receive the service aimed at advising residents how to control their fuel spending while still allowing themselves a comfortable living environment. The project is being run by Angus’ HEAT team, which is part of the Aberdeen social enterprise group SCARF, an organisation which aims to make a difference to people living in fuel poverty and gives advice on energy efficiency and sustainable living. The HEAT team will operate in conjunction with Angus Council. Householders can call the freephone number on 0808 129 0888 to speak to an advisor or to arrange a home visit.
